Iran Parliament Chief: Enemy Talks Peace, Plans Ground Attack; Our Men Await to Rain Fire
Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, the Speaker of Iran’s Parliament, said the enemy openly sends a message of negotiation and dialogue, while secretly plotting a ground attack—unaware that our men are waiting for American soldiers to set foot on the ground so they can rain fire upon them.
In a message to the Iranian people on the occasion of Iran’s 30th National Defense Day, Qalibaf said: “The enemy thought that after the war, society would become fragmented and turn against itself. But contrary to the enemy’s assumptions, the great nation of Iran has remained more united than ever. This unity was so magnificent and profound that the enemy’s conspiracy backfired on itself.”According to Qalibaf, the great people of Iran, with all their diverse tastes, have found one another well and formed a national defense.He stated that the war is now at its most critical moment. “The enemy, which once claimed to have destroyed Iran’s air, naval, and missile forces and had a plan to collapse the Islamic Republic, has now set its goal on opening the Strait of Hormuz—a strait that was open before the war. Opening it has become the operational dream of Donald Trump, the US president.”Qalibaf said Trump is incapable of rallying European countries. “The energy market has spiraled out of control. The symbols of American might—from the F-35 to aircraft carriers and US regional bases—have suffered major blows. The strikes on the Zionist regime have been effective, precise, and foundational.”
Qalibaf added: “Hezbollah in Lebanon, which was constantly threatened with disarmament, is today an important and effective part of the resistance and has ensnared the accursed Zionist regime. The resistance in Iraq is fighting heroically and has astonished the enemy. The Ansarallah of Yemen has breathed new life into the resistance front and stands ready to deliver spectacular surprises. This is the dignity and greatness of the resistance front against the world’s arrogant powers.”Qalibaf said: “As long as the Americans seek Iran’s submission, the answer to those American desires is clear. We are in the midst of a great world war, and we must prepare ourselves for the winding, difficult road ahead until we reach the peak.”Addressing the Iranian nation, he assured: “We will not exit this war except with victory, and the signs of this triumph are already becoming evident.”
